Join us in supporting local small business #loyal2localchallenge!

Public Service Credit Union is very excited to be participating in the #loyal2localchallenge, joining a collective effort by credit unions across the Atlantic region to create a wave of support for our local community by empowering employees to give back to our communities.

During this pandemic, many small businesses have been impacted with loss of revenue and additional costs and we all know that local businesses make significant contribution to our local economy. As a local business, credit unions can relate to these challenges, we were created by communities and the #loyal2localchallenge aligns well with credit unions’ guiding principles and values.

Each employee is provided with $50 to purchase a product, service or gift card from locally-owned businesses or a donation to a charity between June 15th and June 28th. Funding is sponsored by each local credit union and our credit union partners, Atlantic Central, League Savings & Mortgage and League Data. Employees are also being asked to share their stories on social media, tagging the business or charity in order to heighten the exposure via social media.
